Expelled from Television for musical incompetence/independent thought (delete to taste) he briefly joined the Heartbreakers with ex New York Doll Johnny Thunders before forming his own band, the Void-Oids, with Robert Quine, Ivan Julien (guitars), March Bell (drums).
